Disclaimer: It’s been a few years since I attended Intercultural, so things might have changed. But for what I’ve heard it’s still a very good school.
Review: I’ve attended two different language schools in Japan, Intercultural and ALA. Intercultural was hands down the most professional of the two.
The staff was super friendly and helped you with everything from finding accomodation to everyday headaches like filing goverment papers.
The lessons was well structured and the tempo was at a good level.
The only two negatives I can think of is:
Having to _write_ kanji on the daily tests (like, aint nobody got time for writing. When did you last write anything not on a phone/computer) which makes studying unnessesary time consuming.
The second thing is not necessarily a negative, but worth considering depending on your goals. Intercultural is very focused on grammar and JLPT, which is great for learning the basics and if you want to pass the test or go to university. If your goal is just to get better at speaking, then another school might be better suited for you. Like ALA which has a greater focus on speaking.
Another great bonus things were the many events and trips you get to go on. Very fun and memorable!
Highly recommend!
And again: It was a few years ago, so please read other mor up-to-date reviews as well.
